Well there are good listeners, good under standers, bad teachers and so on, it would be a shame if a bad explainer and a bad listener get together in a conversation. I wouldn’t say IGNORANT, I’d say more like incompatible communication couple.

In general there have to be extras in the communication such a good body language in both part and a good temp/rhythm while explaining.

I dated a man for two years that gave me every reason to think he was being monogamous to me and our relationship. I was in no hurry to push it any further because of my small children, was very content and happy just having my relationship with him one level at a time - turns out, he thought very similarly to the man you overheard. Sometimes, they play it that way so they won't be alone in the between times is my thinking.

I could talk all night about this. This is the main reason why I don't like going to church anymore, because it seems fake. Not many people in the church know how to have a conversation, and I find myself wishing that we would have a few people walk through the doors that don't have such a "perfect" life. You know, where you have done something bad, or sworn..... It seems like a joke to me sometimes.
If a gay person, or a street person, or someone that doesn't fully follow the bible walks into our church, they are frowned upon and pretty much shamed out. They are the people I would love to keep in the church. I'm pretty sure they want me out too. Our pastor once said, this is a church where no sin will walk through the doors, that this is a clean church????? WTH??? Didn't Jesus work with those with a past. Or am I just being silly??? I'll stop now...

The banned video was an ad for xbox with a baby flying through the air, aging to an old man and diving into a coffin.

I am following Patrick on Twitter & Youtube he is one of the best key note speakers I have ever heard. I have listened to Chris Anderson live in Vegas (The Long Tail) and he was great but Patrick takes the cake at the moment. I would really like to see PD live one day. Any chance you will be in Australia at all?

Weddings are grand events to look forward to - the food, the music, the beautiful clothes and all the friends and family around, the presents. Then there's the honeymoon, a vacation, just the two of you. And there's lots of love and happiness that's not occurring in a state of reality.

After the wedding, though, that's when there's the mundane tasks of everyday life. Work. Paying bills. Buying groceries and getting the car worked on and calling the plumber for the problem with the master bathroom toilet. That's the true test of the relationship. Anyone can get along when they're partying in a wedding and a honeymoon. It's when you're dealing with the boring day-to-day that the true test occurs.

And this, in my opinion, isn't when the communication breaks down. It was broken before, it was broken during the wedding preparations. It was broken when the cake was cut and when the couple drove away with cans dangling off their bumper. But who notices then? No one. Not until it really matters...and that's when it hurts the most.
