i dont think there is supposed to be communication after a one night stand.

well when it is a random person it is easy to go back to the way things were before you slept with them because you don’t know them…..because it is a friend different rules apply. Friends shouldn’t sleep with each other like that……number one because it becomes an awkward situation like yours.

instead of doing a one night stand thing do more of a continuous friends with benefits.
you keep your friends, get sex, and there’s no strings attached.

I did it once, about 14 years ago. Now, married for 13 years to my “friend” after a one night stand.

There are no rules. It’s a one night stand so don’t expect a commitment or any loyalty.

The difference with friends is that you still see each other and are you comfortable with the fact that you’ve seen each other naked or whatever insecurities you both may have. Also, is this friend the type that would blab to those in your circle or put you down for doing something wrong or stupid.

One night stands only work if you are sure you will never see this person again and you both got what you wanted.

Also, never piss in your own pool.

Yeah, probably the same rules. If its at your place, offer them cereal in the morning. It’s only polite. Don’t cook something complicated unless you want to date them. If it’s at their place, leave, don’t linger forever…that’s too rude. Use their name when you say goodbye. And by the way, say goodbye.

if you guys are friends then most likely it will be very weird since sex does that to friendships. One night stands or just one night and don’t really communicate anymore with that person, so it will be having awkward convos.

You never hear from them again!

If you are already friends, then you shouldn’t let it obstruct your friendship. Especially if you were close. Make it clear that it’s not gonna happen again and it was an accident, etc.
